Q. What size is 6" on it's longest side?
A. 6"s equals 432 pixels .... Turn on your rulers in psp is the best option .. Below is the "help" for PSP 8
To display or hide rulers: Choose View > Rulers or press Ctrl + Alt + R.
To change ruler units and colors:
Choose File > Preferences > General Program Preferences.
Click the Units tab.
In the Display units drop-down list, select Pixels, Inches, or Centimeters.
Choose the ruler color by selecting either Black on white or Toolbar colors.
Click OK.

Q. The tubes I downloaded are in .psp format, but I have a mac. how can I get the packages in .psd?
A. We do have packages available in .psd format by request only. Just send an email to customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com with your request and we will get a package to you ASAP.

Q. Are we allowed to share tubes, download links and images with others with a license?
A. No .. Images may be tubed for PERSONAL use only! No sharing with others is allowed in any form. Other license holders can obtain replacements through AMI ONLY. We can issue new tubes or images very quickly, there is never a need to share. If you are caught sharing you will have your licenses terminated and we will pursue the copyright violations as well, as sharing would cause the artist and AMI a loss in revenue and is easily prosecuted around the world.

Q. Once we have access to the images, with our license are we going to be allowed to offer tag/siggies for other members in our groups who do not carry a license? Could they special request from me knowing that I carry the license?
A. Yes, you can make tags for others. You still have to follow all the AMI TOU. You cannot make blank tags for others though. Please refer to the TOU for further information.

Q. I belong to a few tube groups and who should we notify if we see one of the AMI artists work come through?
A. Any and all violations should be reported directly to copyrightdepartment@artisticmindsinc.com. Send the URL of the site/group that is in violation, screen shots if possible of the offending content and/or the actual shared content when reporting. Your identity will never be disclosed. This is a very sensitive legal subject and will be handled privately with the parties directly involved.

Q. I have waited for over 3 days for my images/tubes/license... what should I do?
A. Please email customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com if you have not received your packages within 48 hours. You should receive your packages within 12 hours after purchase in most cases. However, there could be a reason within Paypal's system that could be the delay and the administration will look into it immediately.

Q. How exactly are the packages gonna be offered?
A. Images come with a license...thats what you are getting the license for. Option A is: # of images (license) Option B is: # of images(license) and tubes.

Q. How do I get tubes only if I already bought an images license?
A. You will need to email admin@artisticmindsinc.com with your current license information. We will send you instructions on purchasing tubes for your current license after the verification process is complete.

Q. I have changed my main internet provider, which of course means my home email addy has changed as well. How do I go about making sure the AMI knows of this to correctly connect my licence with my new email addy?
A. You can send an e-mail to : customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com with your information and they will email you back when it has been updated in the database.

Q. I hold multiple license's.. which number do I use?
A. You may use your initials for all the licenses you obtain. If you requested a license number, continue to use that number for all your licenses.

Q. Is it okay to make desktop themes/wallpapers/incredimail letters, using AMI artists, as long as terms are followed and license number etc is on them and if so, can I offer them for free download in my group?
A. As long as they are properly credited and within the AMI's TOU then there is no problem in doing this, BUT....also with the understanding disclaimer to your members that upon downloading and using them they are also agreeing to not altering them theirselves, that way it protects you and keeps you within the TOU. This is covered in the general TOU.

Q. Do AMI license's expire?
A. Your license is for a lifetime. It will not expire until you do. So, rest assured that once you purchase your license you will have use of those images and tubes forever.

Q. Are we allowed to make (or use) custom brushes made from the AMI artists we have licenses for?
A. Basically you can make brushes only if :
You make them for your own personal usage (no sharing), you do not combine Artists with them, you use them for background use only and not the main image.

Q. Can I add a sparkle or another embellishment to cover a nipple or other exposed body part?
A. This is allowed as long as it is a small addition on the main image. Refer to the TOU about clothing additions.

Q. How do I order a gift license/tubes for a friend?
A. Please use the button "Gift Certificates" and follow the steps. If this is not working for you, please email customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com for more options.

Q. May we use as a backgrounds in our tags photos that are royalty free? (i.e. stockxchange, morguephoto etc)
A. You may use these stock type images as long as they are truly royalty free and require no © on them.

Q. I won a contest or promotion, and I would like to gift my prize to someone else. How do I go about doing this?
A. Email your information and the information of the person you want to give the gift to customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com The information you will need to send for both will be: Your Name, email address, license intitials or number and purchasing info (paypal email address). We will do one of two things. We will either send a package directly to the person you choose, or we will send them the equal amount in funds to their Paypal account. If you win physical goods such as prints or calendars we will not gift that to another person.

Q. I hold a GILD/CILM/MPT/UYA license for a certain artist that is now with AMI. Is my license still valid with them?
A. Yes, your license is a lifetime use license. It is still valid and our artists will continue to support those licenses. You will not need to "update" or "switch over" your license information with AMI either.

Q. I have a license for a certain artist from AMI and from GILD/CILM/MPT/UYA. Can I just use my AMI license and tou on all those images?
A. No. You must sort your images by that same artist for each place you bought the license from. You cannot use AMI TOU for GILD license images or vice versa.

Q. I want to purchase via phone or mail. Do you have an option for this?
A. Yes, if you wish not to purchase via the internet you can contact admin@artisticmindsinc.com and we will give you further details on how to proceed.

Q. I love the art of a certain artist, though I would only use a few images from each package they have available. Is there anyway I can get a package of images I personally choose?
A. Yes. AMI offers a "Custom Package" service to our customers. You will have to wait a bit longer to receive your package, but you will be able to pick up to 12 images per artist per package. For example, say you love Vincent Stephens' art. You would like to have a package of your most favorite images by him. Click on Gifts/Customs. Go to Customs and follow the directions for ordering. Be sure to include your information such as: Your Name, email address, Paypal info (paypal email address) and if applicable your previous AMI license initials/number.

Q. My computer crashes and I have lost a lot of data in the past. Does AMI offer back up cdrom's?
A. Yes. AMI will provide back up CDRom's for an extra charge. These back up CD's will not only be very useful, but will also be collectable as they will have the art of that particular artist from which the package is from on the actual CD itself.

Q. There was a raffle drawing or contest, when will you announce the winners?
A. In some cases we may not publically announce the winners names. Sometimes they would like to remain unknown. We email all winners privately upon drawing their names or their winning. So, we will announce winners as they chose to be announced and others may go un-named. If you do not receive an email, then you did not win.

Q. I have an issue with one of the managers in your official MSN group. Should I email customer service or admin about this?
A. No. This is an issue to be taken up with the managers of the group alone. Though we do participate and own the groups, these type of things are not company related.

Q. I have emailed the copyright department and I get no reply, or my mail is being sent back!
A. Do not expect a reply. The auto-responder explains this as well. Also, if there is a link to the offending content no need to provide graphics too. We now have a new email address for you to send to copyright@artisticmindsinc.com All reports should be sent here.

Q. I have bought elements by Suzanne Woolcott (Gorjuss) through her Etsy store. Do I have to buy the same element packages now offered at AMI to continue to use them?
A. No. If you bought elements from Mrs. Woolcott at Etsy you are to continue following the "Rules for Use" at the time of purchase. You do not have to "update" or "switch over" with AMI to continue using them. They are still valid. If you have any questions then contact Suzanne Woolcott : gorjuss@gorjuss.co.uk

Q. There is a sale on, but when I click on the buy button the check out cart has the regular price. Can I get a code for the sale price or can you send me something?
A. We do not issue codes or regularly send invoices. We have site wide sales, and codes are not a good option for so many differently priced items at one time on sale. Please follow the instructions below:

1. On your Browser go to Tools/Internet Options/Delete.
2. Clear out your Temp Internet Files and Cookies/Cache
3. While on the website page, Refresh your browser.

This should fix the problem for you. Some older browser and versions of Windows may also need to reboot after clearing temp files and cookies. The above happens because your computer has stored an old version of the web page in the temp files and cookies. You should clean them out often for any updated web pages on the internet to show correctly everytime!

Q. The last package I bought was filled in 15 minutes, this time I have waited two hours and still no email from AMI. Should I call or email customer service?
A. Not yet. We reserve up to 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on the weekends/holidays to fulfill orders. If you have waited 24 hours, then email customerservice@artisticmindsinc.com and we will look into the delay.

Q. I purchased via E-Check and my bank says it has cleared, yet you have not sent my package.
A. Though your bank may have it processed as clear, that is only one side of the transaction processing. Our merchant processor has yet to receive the cleared data from your bank, and in turn has not cleared your ECheck on our end. Most banks wait til the next business day (depending on when it is processed most overnite and send out after 2pm the next business day) to send out data like this. Rest assured as soon as it clears on our end, we will promptly send your order filled to you. Unfortunately we have had several bounced EChecks and we have to be strict on the clearing process now.

Q. How do I order a single tube gift?
A. Purchase a single tube like normal here http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/AMIST.html and once into the check out process, fill out the gift details in the "Comment to Seller" field (you will need to click on it). You will need their name (FIRST & LAST) and email address.

Q. How much does a license cost? Also, is the license a separate price from the package?
A. Your license is included in the price of all packages. There is no extra cost past the package price. Package prices vary depending on type of art, number of images/tubes included and promotional sales. Please refer to the package preview as each preview has the correct current price at the very top of the scrolling preview.

Q. An artist has left AMI, and I had a license for them with AMI. Can I still use those images? Also, they had freebies available while with AMI, but those are for sale now at the new company. Can I still use those for free?
A. If you have a license for that artist from AMI, you can still use them those following AMI's Terms of Use. If they are now selling their previous freebies through the other company, then you will need to buy a license there to continue to use as they are no longer free to use.
